As part of our Spring curriculum in Preschool, students learn about insects and what makes a "bug" an insect. Ranger Theresa from the US Army Corps of Engineers was with us last week and shared her knowledge about insects with preschool students and some of her collections. In the classroom, students have watched the metamorphosis over the last couple of months as larvae have become Ladybugs and caterpillars have become butterflies. This week and next, classrooms will release their insects based on their maturity.
