CTE

Exciting news from Omak High School. Our students recently participated in an elective course showcase activity to help them prepare to sign up for courses next school year. We're thrilled to announce that our Career Technical Education course offerings are expanding significantly with the addition of several new and exciting courses. These courses include Police Science and Criminal Justice, Aviation Unmanned Aircraft Systems (Drones), Child Development, Home Health Care and pre-nursing, Forestry, and many others.

A special thank you to Okanogan County Chief of Corrections Stefan Wolak, Okanogan County Chief of Criminal Jodie Barcus, and Omak Chief Dan Christianson for introducing the Police Science and Criminal Justice course. Their expertise and dedication will undoubtedly inspire our students and provide them with invaluable knowledge and skills.

Students will be signing up for courses for the 2025-26 school year this March. We look forward to seeing them explore these new opportunities and continue their educational journey with enthusiasm and passion.
