We are thrilled to announce that the National Honor Society proudly inducted twenty-one exceptional students on Wednesday, September 11th. These remarkable individuals have demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, leadership, service, and character—hallmarks of the prestigious NHS organization. Each student invited to apply met the rigorous standard of maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.65. Their acceptance into the society followed the submission of a resume, two letters of recommendation, and an insightful essay focused on one of NHS's core pillars: Community Service, Character, Leadership, or Academic Achievement.
Please join us in congratulating the following outstanding students on their well-deserved achievement:
Aubrey Carlson, Jacob Rough, Joshua Bucsko, Bailee Allen, Jose Cabello Preciado, Jack Hessman, Finley Sackman, Paityn Richter, Hayden Brathen, Laila Ramirez, Teagan Stroshane, Maxton Brantner, Kinsey Christoph, Victoria Hernandez, Kaleb Taylor, Natalie Rodriguez, Kathleen Kirk, Aaliyah Neff, Nattalyn Cariker, Joshua Sanne, and Sukhjot Mann.
We commend these students for their dedication and hard work, and we look forward to the positive impact they will continue to make in our community. Congratulations to all our new NHS members—your future is bright!

Team One volunteers brought smiles and full bellies to East Omak Elementary’s Back to School Night on August 26th! They served up delicious hotdogs and chips, making sure everyone felt welcome and ready for the new school year. Plus, they went the extra mile by helping with crosswalk patrol every morning during the first week of school, keeping our kids safe. We’re so grateful for their kindness and dedication—they truly make our school community a better place!

Resource Officer Roberto Lopez goes beyond his role of ensuring safety by engaging with students on a personal level. Here, he is seen sharing a musical moment with a student, creating a welcoming and approachable atmosphere. His efforts to connect with students through music and conversation help build a sense of community, trust, and openness. Moments like these demonstrate his commitment to not just being a guardian, but also a mentor and friend to the young people he serves.
